GRIZZLY 660-700 Kit

Thanks to the experience and knowledge with the prototypes mounted in collaboration with several teams, we have developed the KIT-QUAD, a suspension kit designed for Grizzly 660 and Grizzly 700

Based on the technology of Creuat Suspension, the KIT-QUAD improves spectacularly the Grizzly features, changing it to s sports car feeling, without damaging the off-road capabilities

Installing the KIT-QUAD helps the user of Grizzly enjoy the on-road speed driving, and handling complicated sneaky roads, without any changes in any of the elements in the system.

KIT-QUAD ADVANTATGES

The design of the Kit-Quad allows us to offer "all in one" product that provided high speed stability and off road traction without trade offs. The system offers simultaneously "hard" settings for pitch and roll, and a "soft" settings for heave and axle-crossing. This solution works without compromising the advantages of one option over another, and the most important, without compromising in any moment the safety of passengers.

The Kit-Quad brings confident steering well above conventional systems. It is designed and built to optimize all vehicle movements (heave, roll, pitch, and axle crossing) independently one from each other.

This independence in the suspension explains that we can offer simultaneously the following advantages.

Roll stiffness:

  • provides greater stability in corners

  • increases the vehicle control in limit conditions

Pith stiffness:

  • reduces the time and distance of braking

  • improves traction in steep hil climbing

Vertical Movement softness:

  • smooths and improves steering in potholed corners, elliminating wheel fighting

  • reduces the fatigue of the pilot.

  • increases confidence in the vehicle handling

Axel-crossing less rigit:

  • improves the adaptation to complicated terrain (trial)

  • increases traction in very uneven surfaces

  • reduces the need for the use of 4x4 connection

  • reduces the impact of potholes in the steering

ALL WHEELS ON EARTH

The system distributes the weight of the vehicle on each wheel. This means that on very irregular surfaces, the suspension can flex easier than the conventional springs as it provides the stability without any antiroll bar

This is immediately felt on sand and snow where the increment of traction is very welcome. It also makes the vehicle more stable on the extreme situations

CREUAT SYSTEM

CONVENTIONAL

The ability to distribute the vehicle weight onto the wheels also works backwards. When a bump is taken at high speed, the suspension distributes the effects among all wheels. Therefore, bumps do not generate wheel load fluctuations as normal suspension does. The net result is a better handling over irregular surfaces, and less steering effort to maintain the quad on track

LAYOUT

  • The KIT-QUAD installation is quick, clean and easy

  • The KIT-QUAD replaces the suspension elements (shocks, springs and anti roll bar) with four hydraulic cylinders connected to a central device by means of flexible hoses

  • Once the KIT-QUAD has been installed, it is ready to use, and it does not require external devices to keep the system pressure or control it.

COMPONENTS

The KIT-QUAD design is simple, effective and easy to install

The KIT-QUADcomponents are:

1 Central Device and a fixing support

4 Hydraulic cylinders each with its own hydraulic hose

We recommend that the installation wll be done by a professional

ADJUSTMENTS

The KIT-QUAD incorporates compression (left) and extension (right) adjustments placed on each cylinder head.

When these adjusters are rotated clockwise, we harder the suspension system, and when rotated counterclockwise, we soften it.

Compression (left):

This is the upwards movement of the suspension. This adjustment helps with bumps movements to provide the right damping. Soft settings will absorb small bumps better, but will overreact over large bumps and will be too weak during jump landings. Hard settings, on the contrary can be too harass, becoming to uncomfortable. To find the right settings will depend on the vehicle usage and the driver’s preferences.

Extension (right):

This is the downwards movement of the suspension. This adjustment helps to regulate the speed the suspension returns to its position after a bump. Normally this adjustment is set harder than the compression aiming for a higher stability with the least comfort tradeoff.
